If you know Paris a bit, I think it is possible to find a better value for money without much trouble.

Soundproof issue...
Issue with the way the room is prepared.
No toilet paper... Had to go and get some myself in another room... And that happened 2 nights in a row since I've stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms of this hotel. Nelly N. (Switzerland)

The 4th floor is difficult to reach, no elevator. Small room as well as the bathroom, impossible to open the windows, no opening onto the outside so oppressive and hot in the room. Difficult to get out of the tub because of the toilets. Sébastien C. (France-Languedoc Roussillon)

On the 4th floor of the hotel, accessing the internet was terrible.
Breakfast ends too early
The day receptionist isn't always very friendly.

Hair in the bathroom, hotel in renovation therefore not pleasant, Wifi not working properly, no breakfast and no mention of it when booking the room, not welcoming staff, for the same price the hotel gare de lyon bastille is just beyond comparison. Absolutely disappointing hotel for the price paid. Hot water working only if we had the patience to let it run for 15 - 20 minutes. Which is quite annoying in the middle of January. All the more since we had to set the alarm clock to get water in time... In addition in this season, when you enter you room and the heat is not on, it is very annoying. Answer from Hotel de France Dear mister, we thank you for taking the time to fill the satisfaction card. Like we told you upon your arrival, some renovation works are happening in the facility and we apologize for the inconvenience. However, the discount rate, from 81€ the room instead of 127€, is a decent rate for the neighborhood. Our facility is fully heated through a garbage recycling system, just like you could have read in the bathroom that our system is running slow in the day time between 11 AM and 5 PM, but absolutely not turned off. We are truly sorry if it has been unpleasant to you. Our facility filed to get the Ecolabel approval and therefore must follow these criteria. elise b. (France-Rhone Alpes)
