In the history-rich Gobelins district, close to the Pantheon, here is the new very Parisian place which will delight the quality-minded traveler. A very elegant establishment, with delicious and tasteful interior design, it exudes unquestionable charm, almost old-fashioned despite its modernity, Hotel La Manufacture should be heartily recommended with its very personalized welcome, excellent service and soft prices.

As soon as you enter the Haussmannian building, the enchantment begins.Hotel La Manufacture has been entirely renovated : walls torn down, lifts fitted in, air conditioning installed...

But the stand-out point is the interior design. A fantastic high note for this establishment, it is the work of Bobette Compagnon, one of the owners with excellent taste, associated with a former partner of famous English designer David Hicks: Erik Vène. The tones are soft and natural, modern yet delicate, details carefully thought out.

Oak parquet, lamps specially handmade in Spain, collection of modern paintings with bright colors by artist Alberto Cont, who has his studio in the neighborhood, raffia armchairs, gingham, Jouy fabric, tainted cotton carpet, coconut matting, specially designed MDF furniture (an engineered, denser wood, which strikingly looks and feels like mahogany), baskets of flowers... as many tasteful notes which make this place a feast for the eyes, and for the senses in general.

The atmosphere is warm, without a doubt perfect for you to have a memorable stay.

The sober elegance of the decor can also be found in the 57 rooms of Hotel La Manufacture. Not very huge, they are nevertheless very welcoming, and equipped with all the modern conveniences: direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV.

The bathrooms are pristine white, and an invitation to voluptuousness. Bathtub or shower, hairdryer and (sometimes separate) toilet.

Pink, yellow, celadon, ivory, each room is unique and absolutely charming. White quilted bedspread, small armchair covered with gingham, antique wardrobes, it feels just like home.

In addition to the traditional single, double or triple rooms, La Manufacture offers 4 superb rooms called "Top Floor", as they are located on the 7th and last floor of the hotel. Larger than the other rooms, they offer views of Paris' rooftops, and their bathrooms are very spacious. Room 74, for example, is an attic room with a generous view of the Eiffel Tower.

As for families, they will love our 8 adjoining rooms, having two separate rooms each with its own bathroom: much appreciated during school holidays !

Like the rest of the establishment, the breakfast lounge is comfortable and carefully decorated: banquettes with a high back covered with ocher and red gingham, square tables in light wood, chairs with a very modern design and blinds of fabric skillfully rolled over themselves. Please note that you can also have breakfast in your room.

Open day and night, La Manufacture's bar is a real haven of peace and relaxation, to enjoy with a glass of champagne or a coffee.

In its class, certainly among the best hotels I have stayed at in Paris.

Really nice hotel, good location, pleasant reception (very important). Too bad it's a bit too expensive (180€ the single room without breakfast). I think 150€ for the same services would have been better. Better croissants would also be great (this is Paris and there are numerous bakers making good croissants, I believe it's possible!)

Very good welcome but the noise of the avenues close can be heard in spite of the double glazed windows.
