We would have liked a more generous breakfast and other pillows in the room as the one we had were quite thin but overall it was nice. alain m. (Belgium)

First, the negative:
The bathroom is old and has no shower curtain. Shower gel was not renewed. The wardrobe was dirty and smelled bad. The TV remote was broken. A lamp was not working. The staff left the windows on the first day open. The neighborhood was celebrating late into the night.
Now the positive:
Very nice, helpful staff. Excellent location. We were able to keep our luggage there, even though we had already checked out. The breakfast was reasonably priced and typically French.
We wouldn't book again this hotel. Claude M. (France-Franche Comté)

Hotel quite old ; the floors and walls in the rooms could use a renovation... Humid Françoise D. (France-Lorraine)

Room 16 giving onto the street, right by the too noisy Rue des Abesses, too bad as the location is great. Hard to shower in the bathroom with tub (no doors) without splashing all over. Wallpaper getting old, no door on the closet. jean-louis D. (France-Nord Pas de Calais)

Very good welcome at the reception, personalized and nice. We were 2 but booked for 3 (one was sick at the very last minute). The direction gave us a discount as we didn't pay for our breakfasts. This is so rare nowadays, it needs to be said!
Quiet and nicely located hotel. Joëlle F. (France-Rhone Alpes)

The room we had was very quiet (no vis-a-vis), amazing when you know we were only 20 yards away from a busy street (restaurants). It could use a refurbishing (paint for instance).
The bathroom was a bit narrow.
The staff was really available. Bernard L. (France-Brittany)

Room (27) with worn and dusty walls with apparent raw plug holes, and a clogged washbasin! Greyish bedcover on which you'd better not sit, tired mattress. Barely lit bathroom thanks to a very low neon light, shady toilet seat. To be avoided. Answer from Pavillon Montmartre Hello, the room 27 is amongst the last rooms that haven't been refurbished in the hotel and please accept our apologies. Even if it's true that de design isn't finished, our hotel is still clean and our location is perfect. I hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you next time. Regards The reception Maxime K. Small hotel nicely located. Staff at the reception very nice. The room we had, was onto the courtyard, so we could sleep with the window open without the noise from the outside disturbing us, which is very pleasant in Paris... dominique G. (France-Brittany)

hotel being renovated and a mix up when we got our rooms : we had a room with 2 small beds for a couple when the reservation said a big bed and it was not possible to change it, the hotel was full. Brigitte V. (France-Languedoc Roussillon)

Hotel with an exceptional location. Nice staff. The room we got was very small but really quiet. One major negative point: the hotel just forgot to mention it was being renovated: paints, carpets, etc. Since it was for my parents who are over 75 years old, it was hard to avoid the pitfalls. This hotel is located in a small street without lots of traffic and we are not disturbed by outside noise. It is close to the rue Lepic and its everyday services (shops, restaurants...) martine h. (France-Rhone Alpes)
