A welcoming man kept our luggage for free. Very important also, the location : 30 yards away from the subway station Poissoniere, perfect! We'll come back...

The rate and the location of the hotel and very attractive. The only big drawback was the bad attitude of the owner, very unpleasant.

Very old facility, strange water pipe sounds all night. Nothing close to the online description. About the breakfast, he had to ask for coffee. To sum it all up, I would not recommend this hotel.

Photoshop can work miracles, that's for sure!! The comfort shown on the photos has nothing to do with reality except for the color of the bed cover!! Quaint hotel, curtains falling as soon as you touch them, can't close the windows, no airing in the rooms, water leak on the first day and their only solution was to put a not so clean cloth on the floor. However, decent reception and an interesting location

Very good value for money for whoever wishes to spend a night or 2 in Paris without paying too much. Breakfast quite expensive compared to a brasserie!!

Good location, the access is easy (metro just across the street), for those willing to discover Paris. Free wifi. Cleanliness and comfort need to be upgraded (sheets and the towels are not changed). The general condition of the rooms is terrible, only one wall socket per room, no dressing room, we had to keep out things in our luggage for days.

The hotel was decent, the boss very helpful and considerate, not to forget his wife and the staff. This hotel would benefit from changing its light bulbs for energy-saving light-bulbs

The hotel is clean but it is really time to give it a little fresh air with refurbishing (carpet, shower curtain, paint). When we arrived we had a room where the shower curtain was on the floor, it also smelled like mold. Without asking, they put us in a different room but the one we had the heater on the maximum which was not adjustable, well hot nights!! Otherwise the hotel is very very well located.

On the other hand I could hear my next door neighbors when they were talking, soundproofing very thin! And noises in the sink pipe, just as if the water wanted to come back up from it (2 or 3 times during the evening) Had to open the window, impossible to adjust the heater (a bit too hot)

Renovation in progress for some finishing. I recommend in the family room for 3 in this hotel for a stay in Paris, the streets around are worth seeing.

What could have been worst? Arriving at 11PM for 5 nights with 2 adults and a child, the first step we took in the hotel gave right away the level of it. Three people behind the reception desk and we have to ask who to speak to. The tone is humor and arrogance. When turning around, we walk up a narrow and dark staircase covered with a used, dirty carpet that's coming off. Upstairs, the tiny floor strangely divide into 2 parts and gives onto a hallway where it is impossible to cross someone else. The more we get in, the more the carpet is worn out. We finally get to the last hallway, where the ceiling strangely tilts on the right side... The door frame isn't painted and the light switches are dirty. Here we are, in our "room" where the furniture seems to be ruined (there are holes in the wood), the bedheads are dirty. The heat is stuffy. When we open the window we see the neighborhood that could have been the only thing toning down the bad feelings ... too bad! I will not spend too much time writing on the color of the aging curtain. The TV (flat screen if you may!) is connected to 2 plugs partly torn off the wall. It would be a shame not to end the visit without even going in the bathroom (watch the 3 steps very dangerous because of the torn out carpet). The construction workers who worked here probably were cheap and their craft was probably equivalent : lights not hooked straight, paint missing, tiles approximately laid, old mixing valve and shower, molds, etc. The worst: 2 mornings we had cold water in the shower. The only answer we got from the receptionist "wait 10 minutes for it to refill!" At night, we hear a strange and constant noise of people going back and forth in the floors where the walls show how thin they are One advice in case of fire, don't try to go in the hallways or the stairs. Just open the window and find refuge on the roof right behind. This place is just unworthy of its star or even the word "hotel". The staff is incompetent and probably never set a foot in a hotel school. There isn't also much of a notion of reception or courtesy. 78€ for a room, we might expect to have what's written on the site of the hotel. The city isn't proud to have such facilities. Nice image to give to tourists. To be frank, I have to mention the positive points: - double glazed windows - quite nice breakfast for 5€ - nice location
