The single rooms, functional, are perfect for the lone traveler. Double rooms, pleasant and light, face either the street or the flowery inner patio. Twin rooms, just as light, all face the street; finally, the triple rooms, each different than the other, with its own style. The breakfast at Hotel Garden Saint Martin (8 euros /day /person) will be served from 7am to 10am on weekdays, 7am to 10:30am during the week end. A hearty and varied buffet will be laid out in a charming lounge, with a glass facade leading to the flowery patio. Weather permitting, you can also enjoy your breakfast in the patio. On the buffet: eggs, cold cooked meats, dairy products, fruits, cereals, bread, toasted bread, croissants, pastries, butter, honey, hot beverages and fruit juice. For your comfort, the hotel also has a small lounge where you can relax with a cup of coffee or a book.

Be prepared not to sleep some nights from neighbors playing their music so loud it sounds as if younger in the midst of a nightclub--this continues til 4:30 a.m. Lebrun T. (Belgium)

My room on the 4th floor was very crumbling: broken shower, wallpapers and plywood coming off because of water seepage, curtain half unhooked, worm-eaten wardrobe, not to mention the door and its tiny lock that a single punch could have open. Broken shower, TV out of order except for Canal +, tiny bathroom, crumbling walls with wallpaper that probably got many leaks as it tears down into pieces. This is not a 2 star hotel, just a one star, if that... Massive refurbishing necessary!!! Etienne O. (Belgium)

Nice room on the ground floor giving onto the patio, pleasant setting, generous breakfast, only downsides : no hair dryer in the room, noise from construction work starting at 9:15 AM and the biggest downside: no network reception for the phone in the room, in the patio and the dining room, had to go out in the street to make calls...
