Hotel Athénée and its 20 rooms have an opera-themed interior design, paying tribute to the great lyric tragedies and 19th century Italy. >From Don Giovanni to Aida, including a wink to La Traviata, Jacques Garcia, the hotel's decorator, made a point at creating an atmosphere where charm rhymes with exception, and romanticism with opera.

This alchemy also reigns in the rooms with their interior design, their walls carpeted by Pierre Frey, and their bathrooms with Bisiazza mosaics.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, a personal safe, flat screen TV with satellite channels, free WiFi internet access. Each bathroom has either a shower or a bathtub (in superior rooms w/bath and Deluxe rooms).
Classic rooms benefit from the quiet inner courtyard. Superior rooms are more spacious, and have a king size bed. Cozy rooms have a romantic setting as they are located under Paris' rooftops. Deluxe rooms are real suites, with a sitting area and a bathroom with a king size bed.

Breakfast is served in the lounge or directly to your room, from 7am to 11am. 2 formulas are available :

Parisian breakfast (18€/day/person) with pastries, fruit juice and hot beverages
Gourmet breakfast (27€/day/person) : same as the Parisian breakfast, plus smoked salmon with hot toasts, or eggs served scrambled, fried or as an omelette.

Hotel Athénée has a bar, the Red Bar, adorned with autographed pictures of famous Opera singers, and also has a smoking lounge, a rare amenity.
